The Stephen King Adaptation Project - 'Misery'

'tis the season of joy and goodwill and, uh, getting your legs all knackered up!

That's right, we've travelled many miles, but we've finally reached the last entry in 2017's Stephen King Adaptation Project - and we decided to go all the way back to where it started for us, with 'Misery'! The novel, 'Misery', was the first Stephen Kind book either of us had read and it was the perfect codeine-like gateway drug to a world of tales that were both spooky AND scary.

But does our abiding affection for the book translate to a love of Rob Reiner's 1991 film? Do James Caan and Kathy Bates bring to life fiction's greatest romance? Most importantly, will the film finally explain the circumstances of Paul's pooping regime? There's only one way to find out!

'Justice League' review

Are WHINE+SPACE ready to go ALL IN on the DCEU?

Everything’s still to play for, as we come off an extremely bumpy ride from the prior entries in the DC canon, with huge variation in quality from film to film and, often, scene to scene. So, will ‘Justice League’ right all wrongs from the past? Will the seams be visible from when director Zack Snyder handed over the reigns to writer/director Joss Whedon? Will the film strike a tone that reconciles the dark AF aesthetic of Snyder with the snarky repartee of Whedon?

Find out the answer to all these questions and many more, as we go ALL IN on ‘Justice League’!
