Oho, it's time!

Long term listeners will know that old Jimmy Bond has a big place in our hearts here at ALL OF WHINE AND SPACE and so we've been awaiting the return of everyone's favourite super sleuth with giddy childlike excitement.

But can the film meet these sky high expectations? How will the team deal with the pressure of following the critical and financial juggernaut that was 'Skyfall'? Well, there's only one way to find out, so grab your death mask, make out with an exotic beauty and get ready to blow the shit out of some buildings - because James Bond has returned!

The Doctor Who Rewatch Podcast - 'The Girl Who Died'

Not Vikings!

Yes, Vikings. We're returning to our good friends Wideface and Doctor Who for an encounter with a couple of brutal warrior races, but that's the least of the problems right now, as everyone's favourite Scotsman is about to meet that girl who everyone likes from Game of Thrones and it looks like she's going to be a Big Deal.

Are we possibly in for yet another doublé? It's a terrifying thought, and there's only one way to comfort yourself - hit play on this brutal warrior of a podcast!

BlogalongaStarWars - 'Star Wars - Episode I: The Phantom Menace' - a retrospective

It’s that time again!

BlogalongaStarWars has finally reached the prequels and so we press on with the rather notorious Episode I. Long time listeners will remember we recorded a commentary for the film back in February ’12 for it’s 3D re-release, so we agonised over whether to return to it for BlogalongaStarWars. Had we said all there was to say on the subject of the first prequel?

But we realised that Star Wars is in a very different place than it was in early 2012. Then we were talking about a finished saga, a franchise that had come to a close, with no expectation or desire of continuation. Now, here we stand with a virtual assault of new Star Wars material coming our way over the next few years, with ‘The Force Awakens’ looking alarmingly promising.

So we decided to go back in for one more mission, taking a look at summer 1999’s behemoth in the light of what it now means in the context of a saga set to be at least nine films long. So, it’s time to brush up on your trade routes, abandon your loving mother and fail the Jedi council’s tests - because things are about to get bombad!

The Doctor Who Rewatch Podcast- 'Before The Flood'

It's a doublé!

This time we're in dangerous territory though. We've had the first half of the two-parter and it's been a bit too good for our tastes. Have our expectations been set too high? Will Toby Weinstein (as he's known) deliver the good for his first two-partner?

There's only one way to find out, so lock yourself in a coffin, develop some Daredevil sonar skills and tighten your bootstraps - let's 'ave it!

The Doctor Who Rewatch Podcast- 'The Witch's Familiar' & 'Under The Lake'

It's a doublé doublé!

That's right, this week we're making up for our no-show last week by releasing two blockbuster podcasts at once, the kind of one-two punch that you'd expect from a professional boxer or drunken student.

First up, we've got our much delayed look back at 'The Witch's Familiar', starring the young Dave Ross, then we're following it up with a look at tonight's episode 'Under the Lake' and marvelling at the ballsy move of placing two two-parters right next to each other. So join us for a Who podcasting spectacular and your life will never be the same again!
