WE HAVE TO GO BACK.
On September 22nd 2011, @billowl and @ChrisSykes108 proudly bring you the Lost Rewatch Podcast- where two friends journey back to the island that caught all our imaginations back in 2004 (and subsequently lost many a person’s imaginations over the course of the following six seasons!).
@billowl and @ChrisSykes108 will be recording a podcast for every last goddamn episode of this iconic and controversial series, discussing the highs, the lows, the moments of inarguable genius and the erratic fumbles of a show which, if nothing else, always elicited passionate responses from those who saw it.
The point of our project isn’t going to be to sit there and bathe the show in constant, unreserved adulation. Rather it’s going to be two friends discussing what was, for six years, one of the biggest cultural touchstones of their lives and what stands as a testament to the possibilities and pitfalls of attempting to use the medium of TV to tell an ambitious, complex narrative over a long period of time.
We’re going to be discussing what it was that grabbed so many people with Lost, what the decisions were that resulted in the mass tarnishing of its reputation mid-way through its run, the redemption of its later seasons and of course, the mixed responses to the show’s conclusion.
Ultimately, this is a way for two friends to relive one of the most interesting dramatic experiences of their youth and thus it’s a project we’re undertaking for the sheer pleasure of it. But half the fun of Lost was the unparalleled level of participation the show had with its online audience, so in the spirit of that, the Lost Rewatch Podcast would love to get as many other blogs and podcasts involved as possible-so whether you love Lost, hate it, or fell OUT of love with it we’d love you to be part of this- ‘cos nobody does it alone!
So, get ready to join us on a journey that MAY disappoint, but will NEVER be forgotten.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Lost Rewatch podcast will begin on September 22nd with a double bill as we discuss 'Pilot' parts 1 and 2 and will be followed by all new episodes every Monday and Thursday.

BlogalongaBond- 'You Only Live Twice'
All of Whine and Space are taking advantage of 'You Only Live Twice' being on ITV in the UK on Saturday 3rd September and have uploaded their first ever audio commentary.
Please enjoy All of Whine and Space’s first footsteps into the world of commentary- hear their raw, confused and possibly inept stylings as they attempt to find their feet.
The fifth outing for both Bond and Connery is a trip to Japan where he faces beautiful women, Ernst Blofeld and ninjas!
This commentary should be started at the same time as the 'gun barrel' sequence begins.
Please Enjoy
