'Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace' commentary

Yippie!

This week sees the return of The Phantom Menace to cinema screens, this time in post converted 3D. Will it look delightful? Will it look horrendous? Well, we don't know, because we haven't seen it yet. But what we HAVE done recently is sat down together and watched The Phantom Menace on the old Blu-Ray.

We plonked ourselves down in comfy chairs and discussed what may be the most controversial film of all time. We looked back on 1999, the delightful summer when the anticipation for Episode I was at a fever pitch and when, for many fans, the rug was pulled out from under them and their view of a beloved franchise was changed forever.

So, strap yourself in, pull back on that weird lever thing, click on the below link and watch the stars turn into lines as we're about to podcast the hell out of The Phantom Menace!

You can follow the both of us on Twitter at @ChrisSykes108 and @billowl.

You can listen to our work on both iTunes, Stitcher and Podcastland by searching 'All of Whine and Space'. If you would like to leave us a review (hopefully 5 stars) on iTunes or Stitcher, we would be truly grateful.
One more thing! Throughout this commentary, we repeatedly reference the infamous Red Letter Media review of Episode I that can be found on YouTube. As we bring it up in conversation so often, we felt that we'd simply be being right bastards if we didn't point people in the direction of Mr. Plinkett's fantastic and hilarious prequel trilogy reviews.
